What is twill fabric
Twill is a cotton fabric with two upper and lower twill weaves and a forty-five degree left slant. The twill pattern is obvious on the front, but not so obvious on the back of the variegated twill. The warp and weft yarns are interwoven at least once every two yarns, and the warp and weft interweaving points are added to change the structure of the fabric, collectively referred to as twill fabrics.
Twill is divided into two types: denim and fine twill, and denim uses cotton yarns above No. 32 as warp and weft yarns. Fine twill uses cotton yarns below No. 18 as warp and weft yarns. There are white, bleached and variegated twill fabrics, which are often used as linings of uniforms, sportswear, sports shoes, emery cloth base fabrics and padding materials. Wideloom bleached twill can be used as a quilt, and it can be used as a bed sheet after printing. After electro-optical finishing, the plain and variegated fine twill fabrics have a bright surface and can be used as umbrella covers and clothing folders.
