Coat fabric selection guide‼ ️
The most common coat fabrics are: wool, woolen wool, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, and pure polyester.
Wool: Wool clothing should be a must-have in winter. Warmth and softness may be your first impression of it, but in fact wool has many unique characteristics, such as breathability, anti-odor, anti-fouling, anti-wrinkle, etc., and it is easy to care for. .
Cashmere: Cashmere is generally divided into cashmere and mink cashmere. Cashmere is a layer of velvet at the root of wool. It has a small output and is light in weight. In addition to the characteristics of ordinary wool, its warmth retention is far superior to that of wool. Mink velvet is not mink velvet, but mink velvet. It is made of raccoon fur, rabbit fur, wool and other different types of chemical fiber materials. It is a new type of fabric with rich plush, smooth color, smooth hand feel, soft and strong, and close-fitting and warm.
Alpaca: This animal generally inhabits a plateau at an altitude of 4,000 meters, where there is a huge temperature difference between day and night, strong sunlight radiation, a thin atmosphere, and freezing winds. The hair of alpacas living in such a harsh environment is of course able to withstand extreme temperature changes. Alpaca wool not only moisturizes, but also effectively resists solar radiation. Alpaca fiber contains medullary cavities visible under a microscope, so its thermal insulation properties are better than wool, cashmere and mohair.
Mohair: Mohair refers to Angora goat hair, mainly produced in South Africa. It is characterized by thick fibers, small curls and good luster. The mohair fabric feels smooth and has a lustrous surface. Mohair is similar in shape to wool, but some characteristics are different. Its scales are flat and wide, close to the hair shaft, and rarely overlap, making the fiber surface smooth and silky-like. Mohair has high strength, excellent resilience, high abrasion resistance and dust and anti-fouling properties. It is not easy to shrink or felt, and is easy to wash, but it is prone to static electricity and lint loss.
Polyester fiber: Polyester fiber is also called polyester fabric. Its advantages are good shaping, wide plate shape, not easy to deform, and cheap price. Its disadvantage is that it is easy to pill, has poor warmth retention, is airtight, and is easy to wear. Static electricity is generated, making it very heavy to wear. The clothes look textureless, the texture is very poor, and the fabric is very hard.
