Different dyeing and finishing methods of woven fabrics
Generally speaking, there are two dyeing and finishing methods for woven fabrics, one is dyeing and the other is yarn-dyed.
Dyeing refers to weaving the gray cloth first, and then sending it to the dyeing factory to obtain the colored cloth through desizing, singeing, scouring, mercerizing, (sanding) dyeing, setting, pre-shrinking, and softening. Most of the printing processes are the same, mainly changing the dyeing process to printing.
Dyeing is also divided into two types: continuous dyeing and cylinder dyeing.
Yarn-dyed weaving refers to dyeing the yarn first, then warping, sizing, weaving, and finishing to obtain the finished cloth. Yarn-dyed fabrics are mainly in grid and stripe patterns.
