We briefly introduce the modeling characteristics of different materials and fabrics and their application in clothing design as follows.
Thousands of bamboo fabrics
Wanqian Bamboo Fabric is a new type of fabric that uses bamboo fiber as raw material and natural wild bamboo as raw material. It has the following characteristics: 1. Soft and warm, 2. Antibacterial and antibacterial, 3. Moisture absorption and ventilation, 4. Green environmental protection, anti-ultraviolet, 5. Natural health care, 6. Comfortable and beautiful.
soft fabric
Soft fabrics are generally light and thin, with good drape, smooth modeling lines, and natural stretch of clothing outlines. Soft fabrics mainly include knitted fabrics and silk fabrics with scattered fabric structures, as well as soft and thin hemp yarn fabrics. Soft knitted fabrics often use straight and concise shapes in clothing design to reflect the graceful curves of the human body; silk, hemp yarn and other fabrics often have loose and pleated shapes, showing the flow of fabric lines.
cool fabric
The cool fabric has clear lines and a sense of volume, which can form a plump clothing outline. Commonly used are cotton, polyester-cotton, corduroy, linen, and various medium-thick wool and chemical fiber fabrics.
glossy fabric
Glossy fabrics have a smooth surface and reflect light for a sparkling feel. Such fabrics include satin-structured fabrics. Most commonly used in evening gowns or stage costumes, it produces a gorgeous and dazzling strong visual effect. The glossy fabric has a wide range of freedom in the performance of the dress, and can have a simple design or a more exaggerated modeling method.
heavy duty fabric
Heavy duty fabrics are thick and scratchy for consistent styling, including a wide range of heavyweight woolen and quilted fabrics. The fabric has a sense of physical expansion, and it is not appropriate to use too many pleats and accumulations. In the design, the A-shaped and H-shaped shapes are the most appropriate.
transparent fabric
The transparent fabric is light and transparent, with an elegant and mysterious artistic effect. Including cotton, silk, chemical fiber fabrics, etc., such as georgette, satin silk, chemical fiber lace, etc. In order to express the transparency of the fabric, the natural and plump lines are often used, and the H-shaped and circular cone-shaped design shapes are rich in changes.
40 counts of reactive printed twill cotton: twill cotton is the manufacturing method of fabrics. Most of the home textiles, especially bedding, use the twill manufacturing process of two up and down or three up and down, so that the surface of the spun fabric is fuller, and it is easy to be used in the printing and dyeing process. Open width stereotypes, that is, what we often say will not shrink. Twill cotton is denser than plain weave, consumes more yarn, has better wear resistance, is stronger than plain weave, and has better control over shrinkage. Reactive printing and dyeing is a dyeing technology, the color of this method is more delicate, the color is beautiful, and the color will not fade. This kind of printing and dyeing requires relatively high hardware environment such as machines and water quality, so it is not something that ordinary small factories can do.
glossy fabric
Glossy fabrics refer to fabrics with a glossy surface. Due to the reflection of light, it can increase the sense of expansion of the human body. In children's clothing design, glossy fabrics are commonly used to make children's costumes and stage costumes, which have a magnificent and dazzling feeling, and the light perception of the fabric will change with the transfer of the light-receiving surface, giving people a feeling of fluidity and change. Glossy fabrics generally include silk, brocade, rayon, leather, coated fabrics, etc. Silk, brocade and silk satin are soft and delicate, with gorgeous and elegant texture, and are mostly used in the production of children's dresses and high-end dresses. Leather and coated fabrics are extremely reflective, indifferent to light, not soft enough, but have a strong visual impact and a sense of the times, suitable for avant-garde, urban, futuristic children's clothing design or stage performance children's clothing design. Leather clothing is windproof and warm, and is often used in children's winter clothing and spring and autumn clothing. The coated fabric depends on the nature of the coating. The waterproof coated fabric is mostly used for wind and raincoats and other clothing, and the fluorescent coated fabric is mostly used for children's night outings. Some bright and lustrous fabrics are often used or matched in children's clothing design, not only to reflect children's lively and brilliant characters, but also to allow people to pay more attention to and protect children, such as matching some fluorescent stripes on children's clothing. Strong special weather, special environment, it is easier to notice children, so as to avoid danger.
brushed print
It is also a kind of printing. In the process of post-processing, this kind of fabric is sanded to make the surface of the fabric have a certain velvet feeling and improve the hand feeling of the fabric. So what is brushing? Grinding, also known as sanding. The process of grinding a layer of short and dense fluff on the surface of the fabric with a sanding roller (or belt) is called sanding, also known as sanding. It can make the warp and weft yarns generate fluff at the same time, and the fluff is short and dense. The suede surface is smooth, the hand feels plump, soft, full of velvet feeling, soft luster, no aurora. The brushed fabric is fluffy, thick, and has good thermal properties. When you fall asleep on a cold night, there is no other cotton cloth that is cold when it first comes into contact with the human body. At the same time, it has the advantages of no pilling and no fading. A set of sanding four-piece set is twice as heavy as a normal four-piece set.
satin fabric
It is woven with satin weave. The conventional warp and weft density is 173*124CM, which is a combed density fabric. It is soft in texture, smooth in surface, good in elasticity and good in air permeability. It was once named as a "tribute" to the emperor. The first fabric itself needs a high density and requires yarn, and the second most important thing is that it is mercerized during the printing and dyeing process, which increases the brightness and softness of the fabric. This kind of fabric is relatively smooth and feels good, and it takes a lot of craftsmanship. This product is 60 pieces.
jacquard fabric
The pure cotton high-count and high-density jacquard home textile brand bedding is professionally designed according to the differences between Chinese and Western cultures. Weaving with extra wide rapier loom and extra wide projectile machine, fine yarn count. In layman's terms, jacquard fabric is the pattern that is woven directly by the loom, and it displays different parts of the pattern through different organizational forms. Jacquard fabrics have a strong three-dimensional pattern and rich pattern layers. Jacquard fabrics are generally high-count and high-density fabrics, soft to the touch and good gloss.
satin jacquard
Based on satin weave, it is woven with jacquard technology. Two or more different weaves or yarns suitable for different raw materials are used to make the surface pattern layer and achieve the design effect. The processing technology is to weave first. After dyeing, the product features retain the superiority of satin, with more layers and changes, and the color and texture are more beautiful and pleasing than pure satin.
functional fabric
In addition to the above-mentioned fabrics classified by texture, there is also a functional fabric. Functional fabrics refer to fabrics with certain special properties and uses, such as waterproof, windproof, breathable, moisture-permeable, warm, oil-proof, easy to decontaminate, antibacterial and deodorant, anti-ultraviolet, anti-static, anti-radiation, anti-blocking Fire, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance and other functions. The functional fabrics on the market are mainly apparel fabrics, which are mostly used in outdoor sportswear and high-end casual wear. Among the new functional textile materials, polyester fiber is the most developed synthetic fiber.
Functional fabrics are mainly obtained by functional fiber weaving method and functional auxiliary padding method. The functional fiber manufacturing method refers to the use of high-performance fibers with special functions in the spinning stage, such as "carbon fiber, aramid fiber, aramid fiber, high-strength vinylon, High-strength and high-modulus polyethylene, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), polybenzobisoxazole (PBO) and other high-performance fibers”, among which aramid fiber has high temperature resistance, flame retardant and high toughness, and can be made into various protective clothing, fire clothing and bulletproof clothing, etc. Functional additive padding method refers to the use of advanced coating technology to coat different chemical raw materials on the cloth surface to make it have special functions such as waterproof, flame retardant, antistatic, and enhanced strength. Commonly used coating materials are PU (polyurethane) coating, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) coating and PA (polyacrylate) coating, etc.
